Physiotherapy clinics are a privileged space in which the general public meets with physiotherapy professionals. Accessible and nimble, they allow tens of thousands of patients to be cared for every day across the province. Physiotherapy clinics hold to the highest quality standards to ensure the complete protection of their patients. These same clinics offer a professionally challenging environment for the development of their therapists, all members of the Ordre professionnel de la physiothérapie du Québec (OPPQ).
The FCPQ is the uniting force between all of them. With more than 280 clinics across the province, the Federation has become the reference point for current and future physiotherapy clinic owners.
With its values of leadership, professionalism, efficiency and collaboration, the Federation, founded in 1989, is on a mission to promote and support the growth and development of clinics by showcasing physiotherapy.
Across our network of member clinics, more than 1,500 physiotherapists, physical therapists, and other readaptation professionals work every day to ensure the wellbeing of their patients.
By facilitating access to physiotherapy, our clinics are at the heart of readaptation services. For nearly 30 years, the Federation has built its credibility and become the main representative for physiotherapy clinics. The Federation acts as spokesperson for their clinics at different levels, in order to position physiotherapy as a service of our health care system.
Government agencies such as the SAAQ or the CNESST, with whom we have agreements, recognize the professionalism of our clinics, and have integrated them to the services they offer. Physiotherapy clinics are flexible, nearby sources of quality services.
The Federation also has the growth of clinics and of physiotherapy at the core of its mission, helping clinic management to develop their entrepreneurship goals.
